Bows Against Breast Cancer

Jan Burnette sold more than 60 of these pink mailbox bows to her friends and neighbors in the Kings Landing neighborhood off Langtree Road at Lake Norman, raising more than $500 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Burnette was inspired by her daughter, Jennifer Pagani, 44, of Charlotte, who is battling breast cancer. Pagani and her husband founded the GoJenGo Foundation, a non-profit that provides financial assistance to Carolinas residents who are fighting breast cancer. For more information, visit
