The Lake Norman High School Theatre Department will present “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!”
WHEN: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Show times are 7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday with a 2 p.m. show on Saturday.

2. AUTHOR TO VISIT
Nina Crews will visit the Mooresville Public Library as part of its ongoing speaker series. There will be two sessions.
WHEN: Thursday, children’s session at 4:30 p.m. which will include story time with Crews and a collage workshop and for adults at 6:30 p.m. when Crews will talk about her family, Donald Crews and Ann Jonas, who are also children’s books authors and how she gets her ideas and puts them to paper. There will be a question and answer session at the end.
WHERE: Mooresville Public Library, 304 S. Main St.
WHAT’S THE DEAL: In between the two programs, attendees will have an opportunity to purchase books and get them autographed by Crews. This is sponsored by Friends of the Library. Refreshments will also be served. Call 704-664-2927.
3. YOUTH ART RECEPTION
A reception for the 15th Annual Mooresville Arts Youth Art Show Competition is scheduled.

4. ST. PATRICK’S DAY
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will roll down Main Street. There will also be a 5Krace. The St. Patrick’s Day Dash 5K is being sponsored by On Tap Crafty Brews WHEN: Saturday, 5K is at 9:30 a.m.; parade at 3 p.m.
WHERE: The 5K starts and ends at On Tap Crafty Brews, 188 N. Main St.; the parade starts at Mooresville Town Hall and ends at Center Avenue.
WHAT’S THE DEAL: The 5K will raise money for a new roof at the Mooresville Lake Norman Christian Mission. The parade will be led by grand marshal Mooresville Fire and Rescue Chief Curt Deaton. The Connick School of Irish Dance and Coel na Gael pipers will perform following the parade. All events are open to the public.
5. CONSTRUCTION KICKOFF
The town of Mooresville is kicking off the construction of Phase I of the Liberty Park renovations.
