A Mooresville man was recently charged on multiple counts of trafficking after authorities say he was found with large amounts of drugs.
On July 3, Herpiss Cuello Ferreras, 47, of Brantley Place Drive, was charged with felony counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, trafficking in cocaine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
He received a $750,000 bond after appearing before a magistrate.
Warrants said Ferreras was found with roughly 336 grams of methamphetamine, and 4,000 grams of cocaine, weighing about 9.56 pounds total.
