The Arts at the Mill Fine Arts Festival returns this weekend.

WHEN: Friday through Sunday, 6-9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: The Arts at the Mill Fine Arts Festival is a three-day event at the historic mill in downtown Mooresville. This festival is a partnership between The Mill and Mooresville Arts and features works by nationally selected artists and artisans of all media. The event is open to the public. The Rust to Riches Cruise-in will be held.

WHEN: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Dream Auto Restorations, 117 Lona Hill Court.

The 6th Annual Veterans Day Parade and a ceremony will honor veterans.

WHEN: Ceremony at 11 a.m. and parade at 1 p.m. Monday

WHERE: Ceremony is at Glenwood Memorial Park, 273 Glenwood Drive; parade is in downtown Mooresville.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Veterans will be remembered in a ceremony at Glenwood Memorial Park and honored during a parade in downtown Mooresville. The parade is sponsored by the Town of Mooresville and Richard’s Coffee Shop/Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum. Events are free.


St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church will host its church holiday bazaar.

WHEN: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 164 Fairview Road.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Get ready for the holidays by visiting this bazaar which features more than 30 vendors and unique handicraft booths. There will be a bake sale and lunch. There will also be a raffle. Admission is free and so is coffee, tea or hot chocolate. For more information visit


Two events will be held to recognize veterans. One is the annual Bootcamp Challenge 5K and the other is Home for Our Heroes 5K.

WHEN: Saturday.

WHERE: Lowe’s YMCA, 170 Joe V. Knox Ave. and St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 134 Talbert Pointe Drive.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Participants will test their physical and mental prowess to navigate the intense and fun 5K at the YMCA. Cost is $35 and the time is from 7 a.m. to noon.
