Sheldon’s K9s Fall Festival will be held.

WIENER DOG RACE

Downtown Mooresville will host the annual Wiener Dog Race.

WHEN: Saturday, 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Downtown Mooresville

WHAT’S THE DEAL: The annual Wiener Dog Race raises money for and awareness of local animal advocacy groups. Registration can be completed online at www.mooresvillewienerrace.com. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and the first race is at 11 a.m.

5K/WALK

The second annual T-Man’s Charity 5K/Walk in memory of Tristen Hobbs will take place.

WHEN: Saturday; same day registration and check-in is at 7:45 a.m.

WHERE: Mooresville High School Stadium, 659 E. Center Ave.

CAR & TRUCK SHOW

Day of activities to benefit police group.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: The Police Athletic League Second Annual Car & Truck Show will include more than 30 trophies and sponsor awards. There will be raffles, a bake sale and more. $20 car show registration.

KICKBALL TOURNAMENT

Get Fit Iredell will sponsor a kickball tournament.

WHEN: Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

WHERE: Stumpy Creek Park, 160 Stumpy Creek Road.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Team registration is due Thursday. Teams must be co-ed and at least three players must be women. Players must be at least 14 years old and those under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent and that parent needs to stay on-site during the tournament.
