MOORESVILLE Jeffery Wayne Arnold, 59, passed away unexpectedly, and far too soon, Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, from an aneurysm, at his home in The Point, at Lake Norman in Mooresville. Jeff leaves behind his loving wife, Stephanie Dianna "Dee" Arnold; family members, many close friends and numerous business associates around the world. Jeff was born in Rocky Mount. He graduated from Mt. Airy High School and then served our country in the United States Navy. As a lifelong entrepreneur, Jeff started an apparel business in his garage and over the next 20 years grew it into a major globally recognized enterprise. In addition, he was very active in developing real estate in the southeast US. As an avid muscle car enthusiast Jeff started Our Dream Restorations with Dee to help preserve and protect the automotive era he loved. Jeff traveled the world for his various business interests, most extensively in Asia and China. Jeff always said the only reason for his work was to take care of family and friends. He also had a passion for animals needing rescue and providing them with new, safe, forever homes. Jeff was larger than life when entertaining what he considered his extended family of friends, colleagues and acquaintances as a chef and extraordinary host. There was never a time when he was not the first person to help anyone in need. Jeff is survived by wife, Dee; stepsons, Davis Jolly, Robert Jolly and wife, Tara; mother, Elizabeth Arnold; brothers, Ray Arnold, Gene Arnold and partner, Latonna Bowman; sister, Betty Jo Layne and husband, Scott; nieces and nephews, Daniel Arnold and wife, Priscilla, Robert Arnold and wife, Amy, David Cox, Meredith Summey and husband, Scott, Tony Arnold, Elliott Arnold and wife, Kristen, Amy Arnold, Geena Atkins; great-nieces and nephews, Jacob Arnold, Cori Arnold, Alan Arnold, Delilah Cox, Asher Cox, Eliza Arnold, Lincoln Arnold; in-laws, Robert and Janet Davis; and long-time best friend, Bert Ravenna.
