MOORESVILLE Robert "Bobby" Giles Lytle Jr., 82, of Mooresville, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Accordius Health at Mooresville. He was born March 13, 1937, in Mooresville, to the late Robert Giles Lytle and Dorris McKey Lytle. Mr. Lytle was a 1955 graduate of Mooresville Central High School and a 1962 graduate of Nashville Automotive Diesel. He was a retired mechanic from Mooresville Ford. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Martin. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Steele Lytle; children, Robert K. Lytle and Linda L. Green; grandsons, Paul Green (Krystal), Cliff Green; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Green, Brianna Aponte, Jason Maeurer; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friends, Chris and Jill Ingram, Dale Green, and Paulette Lytle. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 31, at Willow Valley Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Mooresville, with the Rev. Dr. David Rockness and the Rev. Jason Sentas officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 249 W McLelland Ave., Mooresville, NC 28115. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Lytle family.
