A Mooresville team wound up with some of the most to show for a scheduled stop on the Women’s Foothills Golf League schedule.
Designated as the official host organization for play at the Rumbling Bald at Lake Lure, the Mooresville Women’s Golf Association accounted for more top-three placing players in the various divisions of play than any other attending team. The competition was staged over the course of two days and incorporating the use of many different area courses
In addition to the MWGA that represented their home Mooresville Golf Club course, other groups in the field included those hailing from Verdict Ridge, Westport, Deerbrook, Rock Barn, Northstone and Cowan’s Ford courses.
