The Officer Sheldon Family Fall Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Mooresville.

The festival, organized by Kayla Vega, will benefit the Jordan H. Sheldon Memorial Scholarship.

Thus far, various fundraising events have brought in $5,000 for the scholarship fund, which goes to help pay incoming law enforcement cadets to pay for classes and materials.

The festival will be held from noon to 11 p.m. on South Broad Street in downtown Mooresville. There will be vendors, food trucks, carnival games and trackless train rides for the kids as well as face painting, live music from noon to 11 p.m., raffles, tricks and treats, and more.
